I am a senior English major at SUNY Geneseo with interests in African American literature, biopolitics and the neoliberal subject, and children’s literature.  At Geneseo, I am a captain of the varsity cross country and indoor/outdoor track and field teams.  Additionally, I serve as the Academic Chair for Geneseo’s charter of Sigma Tau Delta, the international English honor society, and I work as a tutor and student director for our writing learning center.  Ultimately, I wish to pursue a PhD in English literature and someday work as an English professor at a small institution like Geneseo.  Outside of school, I enjoy pixar movies, fishing, camping, and traveling the country for cross country/track meets.  This blog is part of a collaborative digital liberal arts seminar through the organization COPLAC, and a description of the course can be found here:  http://www.coplac.org/programs/digital-liberal-arts.php
